No buying. No selling. Just sport.
Sports gear
keeps moving
through your community.
SportGearTrader is a community platform where people donate sports equipment for others to request. Membership covers what it costs us to run the platform — servers, support, keeping things working — nothing more. Donate what you've outgrown, request what you need, and just cover shipping.
Community-powered and growing in cities everywhere
How it works
Three steps to sport for everyone.
List your gear
Post equipment you no longer use — rackets, cleats, helmets, bikes, and more find a new home here, donated at no cost to you.
Browse & request
Find what you need from your community. Filter by sport, size, or location, then request it — membership includes unlimited requests.
Cover shipping & receive
Once a donor accepts your request, pay the actual shipping cost and they'll send the gear your way — donated, never sold.
Why SportGearTrader
Sport is for
every body.
We believe the only thing standing between a person and an active life shouldn't be access to equipment or its price. SportGearTrader removes that barrier by keeping good gear moving between people instead of sitting unused — or ending up in a landfill. Membership is priced to cover only what it costs us to run the platform, never more.
Zero waste
Every donation keeps equipment out of landfills. Together we're closing the loop on sporting goods consumption.
Open to everyone
A small, transparent membership fee — priced only to cover what it costs us to run the platform — keeps the barrier to entry as low as possible, whether you're a first-time jogger or a seasoned athlete.
Circular by design
Gear flows between people who need it. Nothing sits idle in a garage. Nothing goes to waste.

Questions
Plainly answered.
How much does it cost?
Membership carries a small fee that covers our running costs — servers, troubleshooting, and support. Nothing more. Once you're a member you can request as much gear as you like; you just cover shipping when a donor sends something your way.
How do I know the gear is in good condition?
Members describe and photograph their items honestly, and you coordinate the handoff directly with the person offering the gear.
